| Marine Composite Ceccarelli 46’ IMS “Seawonder”
 When
Giovanni Ceccarelli and Cantiere Marine
Composite proposed Trimarine
to collaborate in the construction of an IMS 46 last year, we were
particularly please with the idea: it was an interesting opportunity
to produce a sophisticated structure in a
brand new production facility, which we knew was very well equipped for handling medium
to high temperature prepreg materials.
The Oven enabled us to build the hull/deck shell, the bulkheads
and all the interior panels in prepreg carbon
sandwich using SAN core, thus obtaining a Hull of just over 550 kgs and a Deck just
under 330 kgs.
Constant attention to weight saving, apart from the quality of
the composite construction were the main driving elements that
we followed in the creation of “Seawonder” a 46’ that
in spite of the very comfortable interiors and the cruising yacht
style onboard systems has demonstrated to be extremely
stiff, very light and particularly fast for it’s class.
